Suzanne graduated from the Won Institute of Graduate Studies in Glenside, PA, the first graduate school in the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania to have an ACAOM (Accreditation Commission for Acupuncture and Oriental Medicine) accredited acupuncture program. There she earned a three year Master’s Degree in Acupuncture, then completed her Doctorate in Acupuncture from Pacific College of Health and Science, based out of San Diego, CA. Suzanne is licensed in PA and also holds a Diplomat of Acupuncture, meaning that she has National Certification, awarded to her by the NCCAOM (National Certification Commission of Acupuncture and Oriental Medicine).
Suzanne practices a variety of styles of acupuncture, including Traditional Chinese Medicine, Five Element (Traditional Acupuncture), Korean Four Needle, Japanese, Auricular, NADA addiction protocol, Dr. Tan style Acupuncture, Master Tung style Acupuncture, Auriculotherapy for Weight Loss and Non-Smoking (trained by Dr. Raphael Nogier), Korean Hand Therapy (non-needle acupuncture), and Facial Rejuvenation Acupuncture (trained by Virgina Doran). As well as acupuncture, Suzanne uses adjunctive techniques such as Moxibustion, Cupping, and Gua Sha in her practice. She also uses Nutritional Council and Meditation guidance according to Chinese Medical Theory to accomplish results.
After almost a decade and a half of practicing acupuncture, Suzanne loves to treat those things that you might expect acupuncture to treat... shoulder, back, joint, and neck pain, digestive issues, migraine, bell's palsy and facial pain, along with allergy and asthma management. A large part of her practice however, has been a focus on Women's health. She regularly helps clients with menopausal and perimenopausal symptoms, concerns with cycle regulation, hormone imbalances, early pregnancy loss, and anxiety. Suzanne also helps with symptom management for those struggling to recover from physical burnout - fatigue, pain, dizziness, heart palpitations, internal jitters, etc. No matter what health concern you walk through the door with, she will strive to help you bring back balance in your life.
Suzanne currently guest lectures at Gwynedd Mercy University on Acupuncture and Meditation. She loves to share the background and current practices of Traditional Chinese Medicine with the up and coming medical community!
Most recently, Suzanne also participates in legislative work for acupuncturists in Pennsylvania. She is the President of The Association of Professional Acupuncture in Pennsylvania, the head of the Legislative Committee, and a representative to our National association, the American Society of Acupuncturists. Her goal in this work is to improve patient safety and access through legislative efforts. She loves participating in a network of acupuncturists who have a passion for working together to improve our healthcare through legislative work.
